Eleanor Post Close and Antal Post de Bekessy hailed from an elegant American aristocratic dynasty from the end of XIX century. The family was passionate by art and loved to share their love. During four days, more than 1500 people visited the exhibition in Sotheby’s Paris. The 700 lots comprised furniture, paintings and decorative arts.

A superb art evening auction was a resounding success in New York, on the 16th May. It comprised a lot of modern artworks from the most famous artists from the 20th century. We were lucky to see paintings from David Hockney, Jackson Pollock, Jean Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Alexander Calder, Frank Stella…. The sale was a big triumph with 97,3 % of works sold !
