How to buy with Sotheby’s®
In order to valuate your furniture or work of art, a team of Sotheby’s® specialists is at your disposal and looks forward to meeting you at your convenience.
The Sotheby’s® sales process
Sotheby’s® organize over 350 sales every year, mainly in New York, London and Paris, but also in Hong-Kong, Geneva, Zurich, and Singapore.
A month before the date of sale, catalogues are sent to our clients and showcased in the Sotheby’s® Lobby. These include detailed descriptions of each lot, with their history, origin, reference and estimate. These catalogues may be downloaded.
A public showing of the lots takes place 3 to 7 days before the auction. You may bid in person or complete the form on the back cover of the Sotheby’s catalogue. These forms are also available at www.sothebys.com
