Karl Lagerfeld’s Estate

From 3 to 16 December, Sotheby’s pays tribute to Karl Lagerfeld through a sale. The fashion designer, the decorator, the photographer and of course the collector will be put in the spotlight. Because Karl Lagerfeld has never stopped being passionate about art and multiplying settings throughout his life: Art deco in the 70s, colorful playful Italian design in the 80s, then French decorative arts of the 18th century, and finally contemporary design for the last twenty years of his life. His last residence in Louveciennes was decorated in a style relating to Germany in the 20s.

Numerous lots featuring Karl Lagerfeld and personal items, such as his iconic leather Mitaines that he wore constantly for the last 20 years, will be able to be purchased.
